Hastelloy C276 - UNS N06022 nickel alloy - Available from stock

The 2.4602 alloy, also known by the names Hastelloy C-276 and UNS N06022, is a nickel, chromium and molybdenum-based superalloy, reinforced with added tungsten. This alloy is specially designed to offer excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of harsh environments.

Technical overviewof this alloy:

  • Europe: 2.4602 | NiCr21Mo14W
  • USA: Alloy 22 | UNS N06022
  • Europe: DIN 17752 | ISO 9724 | ISO 9723 | ISO 6208 | DIN 17750 | DIN 17753 | DIN 17754 | DIN 17751 | ISO 6207
  • USA: ASTM B574 | B462 | B575 | B906 | B574 | B564 | B622 | B619 | B829 | B626 | B366
  • Excellent corrosion resistance, including pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion and corrosion in reducing or oxidising environments.
  • Good oxidation resistance: means it can be used at high temperatures without significant degradation.
  • Resilience in aggressive chemical environments: effective in environments containing acids such as sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid and phosphoric acid, as well as saline solutions.
  • Hastelloy C-276 is generally used in a solution state, where it is heated up then quickly cooled down to ensure a homogeneous structure and maximise corrosion resistance.
